Mission Statement & Beliefs
The mission of the Midway Elementary School Counseling Program is to provide a comprehensive program that allows students to reach their maximum potential by decreasing barriers through advocacy and promoting student success in the areas of academic achievement, social/personal, career, and citizenship development which in turn will allow them to become responsible citizens and lifelong learners.
We believe that:
- All children are valuable and deserve respect
- Positive relationships between students and adults are vital to student success
- All children can learn and be taught if given the right environment and resources
- All children should feel good about themselves
- All children should feel safe at school and at home
