 Splashing into second grade!  

 

          This is my 20 1/2th year with Davidson County Schools with 18 1/2 of those being here at Midway.  I love the Midway community.    I earned my B.A. and M.Ed. from Salem College.   I am certified K-6 Elementary and K-12 Reading. I am a reading specialist.   I have taught kindergarten, first and second grades.  Second grade is my favorite grade to teach. I love to read in my spare time.   In my class, we read and write as well as work hands on with math.  I believe that each student can grow.   Students learn about growth mindset in my room.   Students learn that they can do anything if they work hard enough.
