Your child will be given grades weekly. Each week your child will bring home their Weekly Progress Folder. This folder will include your child's Conduct and Grades in ELA (Spelling, Language, & Reading), Math, and Science or Social Studies.

All ELA and Math Grades are weighted Major and Minor.

Major Grades count for 60% of a Final Grade and Minor Grades count for 40% of a Final Grade. Minor Grades in ELA include Vocabulary and Daily Activities. Major Grades in ELA include Language Tests, Reading Tests, and Projects.
Minor Grades in Math include Quizzes and Daily Activities.
Major Grades in Math include Tests.

Students will be given the opportunity for retesting on Minor Quizzes in ELA and Math before the administration of the Major Assessment for the unit. All students will be given the opportunity for retesting no matter what their grade is, unless it was a 100.

All Science and Social Studies Grades are weighted the same.
These include Tests, Quizzes, Daily Activities, and Projects.
